I ran/walked 2.18 miles last night at the gym and did all my weight lifting, etc. Burned 674 calories. Hooray!! I took this beautiful pic on my way home from the gym on 465 with the camera on my cell phone. =) Isn't God's creation wonderful??
Dave did a big workout at home too. Tonight we're run/walking together and getting ready to go to Ohio (laundry, packing, etc.). We're going to drive to Ohio straight from work Friday night, so I'll need to get things ready tonight.

I think it is very interesting. When I was a little girl, my parents and grandparents didn't have me go to the nursery or junior church. Emily and I stayed in the church and listened to the sermons quietly. I've always thought that when I have kids I would do the same because I want to teach them that there are places where you just have to be still for a while. Once when we babysat Adrian we took him right up to the second row in church, where we normally sit, and we told him he had to be really quiet and Adrian, who is normally very loud and rambunctious, survived the entire service without talking!!! When children are not told to stay there and be quiet, when they get older they don't want to sit in church and pay attention... But I thought this article was really interesting because it actually cites a scriptural basis for what I've been thinking all along...
