Spring is here this afternoon...

in Indy along with the possibility of 4-7 inches of snow Tuesday!! Somehow I knew this was coming. March is always such a sneaky month...you think spring is coming and then BAM! snow... The sky was amazingly red this morning so I took a picture... Anyhow, I'm a little bit worried b/c all of my flowers starting coming up last weekend and when we returned from Ohio yesterday I noticed the ones along our sidewalk are starting to bloom. Now, if they get covered with 4-7 inches of snow, I'm thinking they're not going to survive (?)

This weekend was cool. We drove to Ohio Friday after work. I went to Crop for a Cure Saturday with Shan & Margaret. I laid out Dave's Jeep scrapbook. I got all the pics, backgrounds, etc. in. Now I just have to do writing, stickers, titles, etc. Sat. afternoon I helped mom go thru some stuff and sort out garage sale items. Meanwhile, Dave spent the whole day with his dad, doing things at Steve's house, going to DQ, etc. Then Dave and I had Sparky's Pizza with my mom and dad.

We got up at 6:30 Sunday and went for a run/walk. We went almost 2 miles, up to Herr Rd and back. We checked out the house for sale up there. It's a 3 bed, 2 bath pretty little house. I used to babysit 3 kids who lived there.

We ran into Grandma's house about 7 a.m. and spent about an hour chatting with her and grandpa. We found out he'd just bought 30 little baby ducks to put on the creek later this year. So we went out to the barn to look at them.

We went back to mom's, had breakfast and got ready for church. Went to Oak Grove then the Barn Outback. For once, neither of us overate there. That was nice.

Then we drove back home. It was nice to get there about 5:30 and have the whole evening together. We ate grilled cheese, watched the Dukes of Hazzard, and then went to the grocery. We were pretty well worn out after the weekend so we went to bed early.
