Dave's parents are here again. It's so weird. We've been with them 3 times in 10 days or so due to the carport, this transmission that the guys are working on, and Easter. We never see them this often!! It's really cool. It's like we live by them...but yet we don't... Shan & I played the roles of parts runners this evening. We went to Auto Zone on the "West Side" and later we looked at books and magazines. She brought some Simple Scrapbook mags with her and they were really cool for me to see. I feel very inspired and have half a mind to start scrapbooking right now but I should probably be smart like her and go to bed. The guys are still out working...in the shop...next to the bedroom... =)
I've had these song lyrics stuck in my head all night. The title as I found out after looking them up is Open Skies. That's cool cuz now that spring is here I have been spending a lot more time under the beautiful open skies. It is such a blessing to be outside..............
David Crowder Band - Open Skies
Praise Him under open skies
Everything breathing praising God
In the company of all who love the King
I will dance, I will sing
It could be heavenly
Turn the music loud, life my voice and shout
From where I am
From where I've been
He's been there with me
He's built a monument
His very people
So let his people
Sing, sing, sing
And it's so wonderful
Just to be here now
CHORUS:
Praise Him under open skies
Everything breathing praising God
In the company
Of all who love the King
Praise Him under open skies
Everything breathing praising God
In the company of all who love the King
Let us dance, let us sing
It could be heavenly
Turn the music loud and sing
Lift your voice to heaven
Lift up your head and sing
To the One who gave his love
This is our offering
Lift your voice to heaven
Lift up your head and sing
To the One who gave His son
Here our lives we bring
From wherever you are
Wherever you've been
He's been there
So let his people sing
And it's so wonderful to be here now
Wherever you are wherever you've been
He's been there
