thanks & recipe

Thanks to you all for your encouraging words this week with what's been going on. (If you don't know what I'm talkin' about email me...)

Dave & I are having a good Saturday. He's been working on his Ford truck. I've been cleaning the house. I'm going really crazy organizing everything I possibly can. I've thrown out an entire 13 gallon trash can full of JUNK that was taking up space under our bathroom sinks. I've bleached the kitchen. It is very sterile. I have a box full of stuff to take to Goodwill: clothes, shoes, hair clippers, curling iron. I also mopped all the floors, cleaned the bathrooms and I'm doing laundry. When I get done here in the house I'm headed out to mow the yard. Then I will shower and head out to return some things, maybe get some shirts for work from Sears, and then we're going to the movies at the drive-in. It's such a good deal and so fun. We'll see RV and Benchwarmers tonight.

You know, Dave came in while I was cleaning the rust off the bathtub (my most hated chore). I asked him if he could help me. At first he was like "sure, this isn't so bad, all it takes is a little elbow grease" and then "you know this might come off easier with a brass bristled brush" followed by "maybe it's just good enough like that"...so yeah, we left it as is.

here's the recipe for the chocolate muffins that i promised (by the way, these are really only good the first 1-3 days if kept in an air tight container)

Low Fat Chocolate Bran Muffins (makes 24 muffins, only 1 WW point each!!)
Ingredients:
3 cups All Bran
2.5 cups warm water
1 box Betty Crocker low fat brownie mix
1.5 tsp baking powder

Directions:
Mix water and All Bran together
Let it sit for about 2 mins
Add brownie mis and baking soda
Mix well

Spray cupcake tins with Pam
Bake in over at 350 deg 20-25 mins
Let cool
