update and a link to lots of new pics

We went camping at a tractor show in Portland, IN this past weekend with Dave's parents. Spent some time with Darrin & Sarah there too. Went to an Amish restaurant that had "downsized" their menu. Quite a disappointment. No fried chicken, beef and noodles or mashed potatoes like we've had there the past few years. Only burgers, cold subs and chips....they still had good apple dumplings though. Mmmmm! We got to see how effective our tent was at repelling water once again. It worked pretty well as it rained pretty much all Sat night and we only had a few wet things to deal with Sunday morning.

Tonight we went to X-Site with Dave's work to celebrate their high CSI. Played laser tag and arcade games for free. Ate free pizza. Very cool event.

I just finished adding a bunch of pics to our Picasa site. FINALLY it worked again!

Check out the following albums for new additions:
  • Boone County Fair
  • Anson
  • God's Creation
  • 4th Anniversary
  • Business trips
  • Trips to Ohio
  • Visitors
  • Portland

I also have a little side note here too:

Dave & I are participating in and raising pledges for the Walk for Life 2006 event to benefit the Central Indiana Crisis Pregnancy Center. We'll be walking 2 miles Sept 30th at the Lebanon Memorial park.

The Central Indiana Crisis Pregnancy Center is a local nonprofit agency that gives caring support to young mothers struggling with an unintended pregnancy. ALL of your money goes to provide free services such as counseling, pregnancy tests, ultrasound exams and-best of all-spiritual truth to the many women who visit the Central Indiana Crisis Pregnancy Center each year!

You can make a tax-deductible donation to this organization by sponsoring one or both of us in our Walk for Life. It is not a per-mile pledge but instead your pledge is a flat amount. You can sponsor us by visiting http://indy.ewalk.org/dneer or http://indy.ewalk.org/kneer. Our group of 14 is trying to raise $5000 this year.

We just registered for this today and this evening a friend of a friend actually went to CICPC and confirmed that she is in fact pregnant and while she was there she was saved. Praise the Lord for the awesome ministry of this organization. I'm even more excited to be supporting it now!!!
