YES! I have been trying to show y'all our tree since Sunday night. Blogger finally worked. Enjoy. (I love it - white lights, angel on top....enormous.)Yeah, so, I have 2 more things I want in my next home:
- Wiring that is not so messed up my house almost burns down while doing laundry.
- A bay window that doesn't leak water every time it rains. (Not to self: From now on I will remove all objects from the bay window when rain is in the forecast...) Just used up 3 towels cleaning up the water and can't wash them cuz of the faulty wiring. ...
Now, onto the rest of the post:
Am I a control freak??????????? I really, really need feedback on this one. Ok. So we have this certain biweekly engagement in which sometimes dinner is provided, sometimes not. Since neither one of us get home very early (cuz of work or going to the gym), I like to always have things planned out the night before - will we eat at home, what will we have, how many WW points will it be, what is the absolute latest time I can leave work without being late to something else, etc., etc., etc. So, anyhow, we NEVER know for this biweekly thing if dinner will be provided or not until about 1 hr before. I find this EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING!! I left work early tonight when I could have stayed there working so I could fix myself a healthy dinner before we left only to walk in the door and hear from Dave that we'll be having pizza provided there tonight. I know that I should be thankful that someone wants to buy us dinner, but it is hard to plan both diet wise and time wise for all these last minute changes. I really want to politely ask them to let us know the night before but I'm afraid that would be rude since it's a generous gift in the first place. Ahhhhhh...Am I a control freak for wanting to plan things out so much?
