Is this week over YET? I want it to be Christmas!!!!!

I told someone today about how David "disabled" our TV in 2004. She was like, "WHAT do you do every night without TV???" Hmmmmmmm.........that got me to thinkin'....what DO I do every night? Cook dinner, blog, read peoples' blogs, scrapbook, run errands, clean, read books, do laundry, dishes, exercise, make messes, clean some more, go to bible studies....I feel like I barely have enough time as it is. What if I factored the ultimate time waster back into my life? Disaster. I'm sure it would be.

So, we're contemplating the idea of cancelling our home phone, and therefore, our internet connection and then we would have no more blog. That makes me really sad because I enjoy this all very much. I love talking to cyberspace and clearing my thoughts... (Thanks by the way for praying for my mind to be clear if you did today....cuz I really felt a lot better and stayed on task.) I love feeling a connection via blogs to people who I may not know in real life or getting reaquainted with old friends...but anyways...Dave & I pretty much feel like the Internet draws us away from each other. Either I'm in here reading blogs and posting things on the blog, or Dave's in here looking up Jeep stuff and getting ideas on ways to spend money. It's not a very positive thing for our marriage. And eliminating this bill would allow us to save $1200 over the next year. So, we're trying to decide if we can cut ourselves off from yet another aspect of civilization....

What do you think....should we do it or not?
