ew! and the latest saga...

Yeah, so...it's kinda nasty outside today. It took me 2 hours to get to work. (Normally takes 30 minutes or less.) I spent about 45 minutes waiting in a line of traffic to get off at my exit only for some incompetant drivers to clog up the ramp so I had to get back on the highway and go another mile to the next exit and make my way to work thru the city streets. *sigh* but I'm here now, safe and sound, Praise the Lord!

I called Tom D. about the house for sale last night. We had a really good talk. They want $185,000 for it. Dave & I are trying to figure out if there is any way we COULD buy it, and if there's any reason we SHOULD buy it. Perhaps we'll be back in Ohio this weekend having some serious conversations and touring the house... We talked last night and it's so weird to think we might be deciding to go back to Ohio. We've been supressing those feelings and that dream for so long. It's like, we've told ourselves we can't go back for 6 years, and now that we might be able to it seems unreal and we're not sure if we still want to just b/c we've told ourselves we don't for so long....................................for the meantime, we need our jobs here. Even if we did buy that house, we'd still have to pay for our current house. So we might go ahead and buy it while it's available and but still live here and work our current jobs till our current house sells so that we can pay 2 mortgage payments and nothing else.......hmmmm.... We prayed last night together and asked God for direction and peace about these decisions. Last Tues. night at small group we all prayed for my parents and grandparents and the farm situation. Perhaps this is God's answer (?)

David and Katie,
Wow, you found a house? Is it Kathy Detwiler Kauffman's? I'm not sure what her last name is now because I heard she got divorced again.
Katie - I talked to Jenny today and she is doing much better, although the baby has moved. Maybe getting into position? I had a really nice time visiting with you on Saturday. Let's do it again next year! Ashley and I usually go to Brenda's crops on Friday nights, so, if you are in town and want to go let me know. She usually has plently of room so it's not a problem to call her at the last minute.
Love you both!

Sounds like some exciting possiblilities....I know how nerve wracking it can be though not knowing what the future holds. We'll just keep praying with you. Did David tell you I talked to him the other day? I hope he told you how proud I am of you two and congratualtions...you're a little closer to being debt free, except you might be giving all the extra away (I won't complain though...the gift cards were perfect choices for us...thanks!)
Take care!
-Jenny
PS-I was so excited to see you had already checked our blog!
