update

dave and i started our training to run a 5k last night. we headed out about 6:15. we went a total distance of 1.8 miles. we basically ran 1 min, then walked 1.5 min, over and over until we had gone 26 minutes total. we're following the schedule on coolrunning.com...the first half of it was incredibly hard because we were running into a VERY COLD STRONG wind, but then the last half was easier cuz the wind helped us!!

then we went back in the house and did pushups, transfers (an ab exercise with the stability ball), calf raises, lunges, etc. david reached an all-time record with the push-ups. he did 60 (3 sets of 20). we're both soooo excited about the changes in our lives! after dinner i cleaned the office. he surfed the net while i cleaned for moral support. it was a very nice evening together. =)
