My day

had a pretty busy day here in tennessee for work.

after work, i went to pier 1 and target. i found a cute necklace at target for $7.99. YES! while over there, realized that i was right by the texas roadhouse that dave & i took jessie to for her bday one year when we were here for a biz conference. how cool, huh? some high school kids asked me to be in their video while i was in target. they called me "ma'am". i thought to myself afterwards, "when did i become a 'ma'am'?" hmmmm...

i worked out tonight at the hotel. used the treadmill for 32 minutes. i have been trying to run longer intervals here lately. i ran a full 5 minutes tonight. then walked 5 mins. then ran 3. then walked, etc., etc. anyhow, i was SO PROUD of myself for running 5 minutes straight. you, me and dupree was on the TV while i was working out. i had begged dave to see that movie with me and he refused. now i'm glad i didn't get him talked into it. it was pretty lousy. made the husband out to be psycho cuz he got jealous when his wife was closer to another man living in their house...dave's always right. just usually takes me a while to agree with him.

had dinner at ruby tuesday's by myself. finally after all these biz trips, i've learned to eat out at a sit down restaurant alone. people always ask me why i'm by myself though....hhhhh...anyways, dave was at home making a peanut butter pie and cleaning. sometimes i feel our roles are a little reversed from what i pictured in my mind when i was 5 years old playing house. oh well. perhaps after i switch jobs here in a couple weeks things won't be so much like this....? see ya!
