- spent wed with tamara & adrian. went to the park, had pizza hut buffet, etc, etc.
- made an apple pie, some nuggets, and a pot roast on thursday (i was very productive & busy in the kitchen that day)
- slept in friday cuz i could!!?!?!?
- did the walk for life sat a.m.
- took lots of naps and felt rested. so rested that i stayed up till 4 a.m. sat/sunday watching movies, playing the piano, etc. so hyper (course it might have been the starbucks we had at 11 that made that happen). had scary, creepy dreams all weekend.
- started reading "his needs, her needs" with dave, trying to convince our small group to read it & discuss it
- played scattergories w/ guy & amanda sunday night (yay!)
- got to be home while buddy was harvesting beans around our house. something i always want to see!! took some pics of the beautiful fall days.
- took lots of pics of lots of things but too busy to actually upload them. sorry!
- got a pumpkin and put it on the front porch
- babysat adrian from 10 pm wed night to 11 am thurs morning. realized we are not ready to be mommy & daddy...or at least that we're still too selfish to give of ourselves...?
- bought a new bookshelf for the office. moved the old one to the bedroom. lots of new storage space to work with.
- started my new job today. feel pretty good about it. just hope i'm not too dumb for this after a year of feeling lost.
- bought new cell phones saturday night. woohoo! i love mine. david spoiled me and got me one that's nicer than his.
- thinking i will join the ymca tomorrow or wednesday.
- our house is being overtaken by moths. ahhhh!
- our road is closed as of today...got a message from the developer in response to our call friday. maybe we will find out something...?
- went to chinese ruby sat night - it was great! (yeah, finally unearthed the gift certificate dave's aunt gave him for his 22nd bday ....yeah, he's gonna be 25 in 1.5mos...)
- planned out a menu so that we will not eat out this week. will help our waistlines & our budget. went to the grocery and bought only what we will need. we're having herbed turkey in the crock pot tomorrow night with stuffing and green beans, meatloaf & healthy mac n cheese wed, homemade chix noodle soup thurs, chicken teryaki (in crock pot) fri night. so excited!!
- also bought some health food version of oreos tonight. mmmmmmmmmmm. not sure if they're that much healthier but oh so good!
- weighed in today - lost 2.6 lbs in the last 2 weeks. so excited! and re-motivated!
