Every breath we take we breathe in you...

waves of mercy, waves of grace...we sang this song at "The Bridge" (our church's Sunday night gathering) this week. Finally! At least I know it's a real song now. Have had the lyrics in my head for months. And so glad I finally talked Dave into going to this service.

anyways, Dave & I are praising the Lord for all the changes He's leading us to make...and all the opportunities to serve He's put in our pathways these past couple weeks:

  • thinking of volunteering to do some keyboard/drum things at church...?
  • playing the role of "mediators" in a couple situations
  • and my favorite - reading about budgeting in the book "The Budget Kit". LEARNING SO MUCH!!! i finally see what really does happen with all our money and how important the little decisions are - about eating out, buying extra more expensive things at the grocery. one month we spent $150 on groceries, the next $700, and we were even out of town one of those weeks. don't ask me what happened (but it's not gonna happen again)... we've been extremely careless with our money the past year. we're making strides financially but could be making even more. from now on we won't be as careless
  • at the same time i'm doing that, God is placing things on Dave's heart about money. how we need to shift our focus from ways to spend money to ways to save and give it, etc., etc. this is an amazing time of learning! YES!

did cardio kickboxing last night w/ a girl from work. amazingly hard but fun. almost fainted at the end cuz i got overheated or something. but i'm totally feelin' the burn today. wanna do it again!!!

gotta go. our phone and net have been down at home for 7+ days. (thanks to TDS...) so that's why my posts are rare these days...
