The Lord's Day ~

I'm back home, I'd had my breakfast and played the piano and now I'm typing away here watching the sun come up outside. It's so beautiful in the early mornings. :)

So Dave & I have been having a discussion this week about The Lord's Day. We started these second jobs where we work 7 days a week, 365 days a year, and then Dave was studying the commandments and read that the 7th day should be the day of rest. Of course, we already knew that was a commandment but he really felt like it was more real after reading it. So he came to me and said that maybe we shouldn't do these jobs. However, we both feel that it is a very good thing for our future to make this extra money now. Therefore, we decided that it is only work if you make it work. So we are dedicating our routes on Sundays to the Lord. Every paper we throw is for Him and then all the money we make on Sundays goes straight to work in His church. I was listening to the radio this morning, to country music and then I remembered what we said about Sunday so I switched over to KLove and everything seemed to get easier. :) My mind went to where it was supposed to go.

Well, I'm off to take a little nap b4 getting ready for church. After church, we're meeting with the boss to get the last part of my route.

After that, we'll be cleaning up the front yard. (Dave & Brad cut down the tree by our mailbox yesterday.)

I'll leave you with these lyrics that I heard this morning. I just love these songs!

Lord of Heaven and Earth
Lord of all creation
Of the water, earth and sky
The Heavens are your Tabernacle
Glory To the Lord on high

God of wonders
Beyond our galaxy
You are holy, holy
The universe Declares your majesty
You are holy, holy
Early in the morning
I will celebrate the
light

And when I stumble into darkness
I will call your name by
night

God of wonders
Beyond our galaxy
You are holy, holy
The universe Declares your majesty
You are holy, holy

Hallelujah (to the lord of heaven and earth)
Hallelujah (to the lord of heaven and earth)
Hallelujah (to the lord of heaven and earth)
Holy, holy
Holy, holy

God of wonders
Beyond our galaxy
You are holy, holy

Precious Lord, Reveal your
heart
to me

Father hold me, hold me
The Universe Declares your majesty
You are Holy, Holy
Holy, Holy

Hallelujah (to the lord of heaven and earth)
Hallelujah (to the lord of heaven and earth)
Hallelujah (to the lord of heaven and earth)
Hallelujah (to the lord of heaven and earth)
Hallelujah (to the lord of heaven and earth)
Hallelujah (to the lord of heaven and earth)

Caedmon's Call - Hands Of The Potter
Lyrics

Lord if i'm the clay
Then i've been left out in the
sun

Cracked and dry, like the mud from
the sty

Still clinging to the prodigal
son

But I'm on my way back
home

Yes I'm on my way back
home

Into the hands (into the
hands)

That made wine (wine) from the
water

Into the hands (into the
hands)

The hands of the potter

Lord if i'm the clay
then

Let your living water
flow

Soften up my edges,
lord,

So everyone will know
But i'm on my way back
home

Yes i'm on my way back
home

And Lord, when you listen for the
song of my life

Let it be, let it be, a song so
sweet

Let it be, let it be, a song so
sweet

Let it be...Lord, if i'm the clay
then lay me down

On your spinning wheel
Shape me into something you can
fill

With something real
And I'll be on my way back
home

Yes i'm on my way back
home
